Let’s talk about you

You’ve worked hard your whole life. You’re likely somewhere between 55 and 70, and are thinking about making the transition to retirement. You’ve accumulated assets and have a list of adventures, books, classes, hobbies, and skills you’ve been putting off. Now’s the time!

Making the change can be scary as we go from saving to spending.

Which accounts do you draw income from? How much can you spend and feel confident your money will last 20 to 40 years? When should you start social security? What’s up with required minimum distributions? Should you gift to your heirs during your lifetime or wait? Everyone is talking about Roth conversions, but why? How do you minimize estate taxes?

Not to mention the ever changing landscape of tax laws, the economy, and the markets.

Our clients are generally currently retired or a few years out from retirement. Ideally if we can work together for the 3 years prior to retirement we can make the greatest impact on retirement as a whole.

Why? We can make adjustments to which accounts we are funding and at what rates. Each year provide an opportunity to make the most of our assets and minimize lifetime tax. We can use the years between when retirement starts and when income is forced on you from your IRA’s and social security to manage concentrated positions, complete Roth conversions, or work through a gifting strategy.

If this sounds like you, let’s chat.

Other advisory firms will have a tab on their website for “Services.” We don’t have that, why? Because we only offer one service…

Wealth Management for retirees

But that service is all encompassing.
